This book is overflowing with ideas for being intentional about your faith and raising your children. Ideas for incorporating your faith into your decorating, your traditions, and into rites of passage for young people. Also would make a great resource for a church trying to plan meaningful events for young people. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It's my favorite gift for new parents to help them reframe their idea of what it means to live by faith and communicate that faith to their children.

I enjoyed this book and found it to be a quick & easy read. My favorite part of the book is when they talk about the consequences of remembering & forgetting. Two "celebrations" that we have started in our family are The Joshua Basket (page 55) and The Proverbs Notebook (page 63). A few "celebrations" I would like to turn into family Bible Studies when the boys are just a tad bit older. Another "celebration" that is a future project is the Mom and Dad's Book of Treasures (page 83). I did find it a bit much that they celebrated each idea with all 7 of their children. All in all the book was more than well worth my time and God has used to bless our family. I would recommend to any of my friends looking for ways to practically apply God in their family's everyday life.
