Annoying book. I like cats but I hate mixing up Egyptian mythology and werewolves this way... I get the feeling there is either a prequel or a sequel or both that may be better. I did not like most of the characters in this book, blah, finished it because I bought it at full price from Borders and was hoping it would get better near the end.

if you take Bram Stoker's Dracula, Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes , Stephen King's Sleepwalkers, and a big stinky load of victorian themed drivel you have this book.

the story was poorly written, the rip off of Sherlock Holmes by usings a female detective Shelly Holmes is blantant. and the men that turn into cats thing wasnt even done well. if that's the kinda thing you like try Rachel Vincent's novels. MUCH better.
