Great story, as usual with this series, the action starts right from the jump. That's my favorite style of book. Fun, several twists and the cats are great as usual. The little rat-terrier, Yoshi, adds a nice new dimension to this story. A new character added, should be fun for future stories. The light romance between Tom and Jillian is a very nice touch. All the main characters in this series are very likeable. I always love that. Some sub-characters are irritating but you don't see much of them.
Good reading, good mystery, good plot.

Leann is one of the best writers I have come across in a long time, she captures the reader right from the beginning. I have read all the books in this series and have not been disappointed. She is an excellent writer

Another great story in this series; hoping that this will advance some of the side story lines in future books! I really liked that secrets were told and not held out throughout the entire book! Really enjoyed this one!
When quilter Jillian Hart returns to her lake house in Mercy, South Carolina, she discovered her friend, Tom, is missing-and his estranged half-brother has moved into Tom's house. Jillian doesn't trust the guy, especially since he allowed Tom's diabetic cat to escape. When police officers find Tom's wrecked car with a dead stranger inside, Jillian is determined to find out what happened to Tom-before someone else turns up dead.
This is the first in this series that I didnt think that much of.there was way too many complications, details (and a lot had nothing to with the story and/or the mystery) .all the pets were cute but just too many. All the characters were hard to keep track of just making the story not really that believable!

What a great read! This book is fast moving with good development of the characters. Their interaction is well written, and adds excitment to the plot. The extra information about cat is an extra added bonus to the book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I really like this series, but I Loved this book in particular. Great mystery with lots of questions and likable characters involved. I whizzed through it in just two days.
