Yes, another exciting book about two beautiful siamese cats and a even more cerious reporter. There tring to solve a mystery about twins involved in murder.
1989 Jove Book Publication. Qwill, Koko and Yum Yum investigate the murder of the son of a rich banker and his wife.
Living in the peaceful city of Pickax may be restful, but it certainly isn't dull. At least not for one of the most eligible bachelors in town, veteran newspaperman Jim Qwilleran.
Having inherited millions, Qwilleran and his two feline companions, Koko and Yum Yum, are preparing to settle down into a life of purrfect luxury. that is until the son of a rich banker and his wife are found murdered.
To the police it looks like a robbery gone awry. But then Koko develops an odd appetite for glue. Qwilleran doesn't spot the clue until his beloved Siamese's taste for paste tangles them in a web of love, danger, and their stickiest case yet.

Another in the Jim Qwilleran and his Siamese cats, Koko and Yum Yum, mysteries. This is an early Pickaxe in Moose County "400 miles north of everywhere" story involving murder and the twisted backgrounds of various Moose County families. Koko provides the clues to solving the mystery, this time relating to his licking the glue off of stamps and envelopes.

In this eighth book in the series, Koko develops a fetish for glue and starts licking envelopes, postage stamps, etc. Also, there are several deaths of members from the "old" (rich and important) families. Polly seems to have cooled off for Qwill but he eventually wins her back.

I read all the books in this light-hearted series one after another and really enjoyed them. The cat KoKo and his feline partner, Yum Yum, are endearing. Their owner is a former newspaper reporter, James Qwilleran. They live in a small town with lots of interesting residents. James can't seem to avoid murders though he sure would like to. The series ended abruptly with unresolved relationships due to the author's death at 97.
Another great mystery involving Qwill and Koko. A very quick read.
Cute story.

This 8th volume of the popular Cat Who series focuses on the production of 'Arsenic and Old Lace' that is being staged by the Moose County Theater Club. The play is cancelled when one of the cast members and his wife are murdered. In typical small town fashion everyone else in the book are related to, had dated, gone to school with, taught, worked with or in someway were related to the couple. Qwill, the richest man in Moose County (which is located 400 miles north of everywhere) and his cats Koko and Yum Yum, are soon on the case. This sleuthing does not come without peril to the trio but in the end they of course solve the crime.
