I've read all of the Cat books, despite the fact that sometimes I find them rather irritating! This one was just plan strange, though it did have some interesting twists. For some reason, it seemed like it just stopped in mid-narrative. In fact, I took some time to look to see if I had misplaced a CD or two, but they were all there as advertised. It felt as if I had the waiter come and snatch my dinner plate away before I had finished it.

Another near-mystery from the same people continuing to be Lilian Jackson Braun. That's my guess, at least. There's some trouble in Pickax (when isn't there?) But this time there are changes on the horizon that will alter lives FOREVER! Maybe I'm a sap, but I dearly DO care for these books! And this one made me cry!
