the description tells you all about the book - i really really liked it. it was very compellingly written. once i picked it up it was difficult putting it down. if you like the idea of going on vacation, falling in love with the place, and buying your own place and living there - you will thoroughly enjoy this book. a great companion book is 'the most beautiful villages of the dordogne' by hugh palmer. i got this large coffee table book on interlibrary loan, after reading about 'castelnaud' in the dordogne noir of france.
