Casino Love and Honor in Las Vegas
Author: Nicholas Pileggi, Larry Shandling
With the intensity of a Jacobean tragedy, Casino unfolds its tale of a love triangle between a gambler, his wife, and his henchman amid the glittering, festering Babylon of Las Vegas. The film makes daring use of voice-over and rapidly shifting points of view and time frame, leaving conventional film language far behind.

This is based on a true story. My dad knew Lefty Rosenthal and I had heard stories about him, so I was looking forward to reading the book. I heard the movie Casino was great. The book was boring. Each chapter sounds like it's written by a different person (in first person) and sometimes you're not sure the name of the person. Too many pronouns and not enough names are used. It makes the book confusing.
