A fun and funny book. While a Little Leaguer gets as cocky as Casey did (and ends up very like Casey} The more than century old, still loved ballad of Casey at the Bat makes up the narrative. Several interesting twists and turns. Wonderful, colorful, emotive illustrations (including the dog and the goat).
