Wow!
I've read a number of Howard Fast's books, mostly his historical novels, of which "April Morning" is probably my favorite. But while I've enjoyed his "Masao Masuto" Japanese detective novels, I didn't realize he could write one which was such a page-turner. A 30-year-old crime leads to more murders in "present day" Los Angles, involving millionaires and final retribution.
