This book was well written. I found it to be a fascinating read from the talented Carlos Santana's early childhood, through the turbulent sixties and on to success. I admired his accomplishments all the more, considering the heartbreaks, poverty, and even neglect of his youth. Having grown up in some rough circumstances and playing in some bordertown dives at a very young age, then earning success...just a really interesting look into this talented musician's life.
