If you're a Laurens/Cynster family fan you know the deal. Just forget about the totally ridiculous plot and enjoy the fluff, and get to revisit your favorite characters from the earlier books again. Some have complained about the lengthy descriptions of Scotland, but since I visited there once, reading about places I had been to was like a mini-vacation. Bonus short story at the end of the book. 3 stars, I liked it, but will probably never pick it up a second time.

If you are a Stephanie Laurens fan, this book will not disappoint. It is written in her typical descriptive style, and is among my favorites. If you are not familiar with her work, then by all means, read this book by the Queen of Regency Romance.

First there was Heather than Eliza and now Angelica Cynster who all fall victim to the kidnapper from the Highlands of Scotland. Finally we learn who is behind the kidnappings, the Earl of Glencrae, Domonic, and why he is so determine to get one of the sisters. It is a very enjoyable romp, if a little too wordy at times. Angelica is so intelligent and spirited, she is the perfect match for Domonic, the poor man doesn't realize what hit him. If you read the other 2 stories you will recognize the interminal journey to Scotland....again. Enough already, been there-done that twice before. About two-thirds of the way through the book the good story starts and then it is a rush to the end, too rushed.
But now the next Cynster daughter gets the jewelry, so supposedly we will be off on a new adventure soon.

I loved this, but then it's hard to beat Stephanie Laurens for plot and just great writing. She can really set a mood and make her characters distinctive.

It was a fitting end to the series.

I really enjoyed this third book of the Cynster Sisters trilogy. Even more than the first two. Stephanie Laurens is a wonderful romance writer. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed the book very much. I will say that you need to read the series starting from Book 1.
