I liked this one very much, although the styles of Angela Knight and Diane Whiteside are very different. Although the two stories are both explicit, the one by Diane Whiteside uses more flowery language than that of Angela Knight, whose writing is much more straight-forward. You can only read Whiteside comparing a woman's feminine parts to flowers so long before it becomes annoying.

This particular version is from Berkley although the picture shown is the Ellora's Cave version. The book that comes with this ISBN is a trade size paperback with different cover art than shown.

Description: Double the heat: the queens of super-sexy paranormal romance join forces for a one-of-kind novel.

Celeste and Corinne Carson are more than sisters-they're bestselling writers, each with a fantasy-fulfilling alpha-male hero. For Celeste, it's Jarred, a conqueror from the future. For Corinne, it's the barbarian Mykhayl from a world long ago. Devilishly sensual warriors, Jarred and Mykhayl have something in common themselves-they're both more real than their creators could have imagined. Fearing that the sisters are about to write them off, Jarred and Mykhayl decide to exact sweet revenge. The plan? Kidnap Celeste and Corinne, spirit them away to the very worlds of which they wrote, and persuade them to surrender to the sublime punishments of their own uninhibited imaginations.

Review: I'm not so fond of the whole kidnap me, tie me up and FORCE me to come type books, so I ended up more skimming for the story. The story itself was entertaining, but otherwise this book was a bit to much for me.

Great story as always.

The storyline was interesting and different from my usual reads. It was a little bit beyond believable but in truth does one read a book for believability or as Oscar Wilde says "to momentarily suspend disbelief"? Book 1 by Whiteside was of more interest to me since the sexual interplay was maintained between the two main characters. Book 2 didn't hold my interest as much as the first one did. More so for the reason that the sexual scene toward the end of the book was beyond where I wanted to go than the lack of imagination on the author's part.

I bought this book at Wal-Mart and was really surprised when I started reading it. Didn't know Wal-Mart allowed this type of book to be sold in it's stores.
The whole captive bondage thing is just too kinky for me. I skimmed it as well. Tolerable story but again the kinky thing doesn't do it for me.

Oh, And I have the right IBSN number but a different cover. Strange.

I enjoyed the storyline of the two sisters and their writing dilemna. Unfortunately, one story is better written than the other. Still fun to read.

An interesting premise. I thought Angela executed her story in a more interesting fashion than Diane.

Ummm, I wasn't impressed by this book. The premise (storyline)sounded intriguing, but it was ultimately disappointing. The Angela Knight part of the book was marginally better than the Whiteside, but neither lived up to their reputations or my expectations. It was basically a setting for sex, sex, & more sex, and the storyline was the thin thread holding it all together. Think I'll pass on their next book.

Not my favorite story from either author, rather over the top.
