This intriquing story is wrapped around big business (Ford)and a local dentist who's wife is killed in an accident, he claims because of the air bag in their Ford Explorer.
Ford then defends themselves, claiming the doctor killed his wife. The story is intriquing and has an unexpected ending!

I enjoyed this story as I lived nearby at one time and had worked in the hospital in the area.

True crime (sort of). A woman is dead after a minor accident, and her husband sues Ford for faulty air bag. But as the court discovery proceeds, the lawyer finds that she may have been strangled prior to the accident, and the crash staged as a cover up. Based on a true story. Kind of dry and a lot of jargon, but interesting.

A story of a man, who obviously murdered his wife and unborn child for greed and adultry. Cannot understand why he wasn't indicted.

True story of "was it murder", don't want to give to much away. Dr Thomas a dentist said he and his wife were taking their daughter to the hospital on a snowy winters night, she was driving although very pregnant, had had blackouts, he claimed, and had slipped and fallen before entering the car. There was a crash-- the air bags went off, he claims air bags built buy Ford Motor company are at fault, the med report says maybe something different. Dr Thomas collects large amount of money-remarries and has new child, trying to keep this secret. Finaly there is a trial persued by first wifes family and Ford gets into it. Surprise ending. Very good true read. I am now looking for more by this author. Wasn't all that court he said she said legal stuff to go thru-very plain english and to the pointly written.

The bulk of the book is the investigations done by the opposing sides and all the legal wranglings. Ford finally catches the man in serious lies (the amount of insurance, an ongoing affair) and accuses him of strangling his wife.
Those who do not like tedious courtroom stuff will not like this; I did. Also, the story does not come to a definite conclusion. I saw it coming and was fine with it, but it may drive some readers crazy.

I really enjoyed this book. I live in the area and relate to the places and remember reading about this case in the papers. YOu won't be sorry if you read this.

This book has got to be the most BORING book I have ever read! There is so much repeat....and repeat...and repeat expert testimony that it just drags on and on. And at the end of the book, it was all for nothing! It is definitely a page-skipper! I would like the credit for the book but I have to say I DO NOT recommend it!
