An older mystery featuring Penelope Spring who has been summoned to Cape Cod by an old flame, Zeb Grange. There's an attempt on his life, then another murder and Penny and Toby Glendower, her colleague, must solve the mystery. Pub. in 1980, this is a pleasant old-fashioned sort of mystery.

An easy read but not my cup of tea in
the mystery genre. Too much unnecessary
chit chat, not enough forward motion.

A Penny Spring and Sir Toby Glendower mystery, set on "old" Cape Cod. Full of interesting twists.
