For anyone interested in bush flying over the U.S. in an open cockpit plane, this is a terrific example of bonding between a father & son. A feel-good read for wannabe pilots.

A non-fiction diary-style read, filled with great aviation-oriented exploration as Coonts flies all around the country in a vintage biplane, fulfilling a dream in the fashion of the classic barnstormers. I found it insightful as you listen to him find "himself" and various truths throughout the journey.
