I did not like this book as much as I wanted to. The hero was too stern and the heroine was too wimpy. Lots of sex, including light bondage, but the end was too "lets tie up the loose ends".

Boring. not much action, and the scenario, secondary characters and much of the dialog didn't add up. I also didn't care for either lead so not much chance I'd like this book then.

the book wasnt what i expected i wanted to see more romance but it was good in some areas
A must read book ...once you begin you will not be able to put it down!
A throughly erotic read with a really good interracial romance thrown in. The backstory between Davis and his daughter was a tear jerky, but it really added to the overall appeal of the story. Davis and Candy were on fire. Even their day dreams about one enough were off the charts. The passion is what made them great. You could really feel the words jumping off the pages and pulling you in. Kimberly Kaye Terry is quickly becoming one of my fav erotic authors.

I liked this book. It was an easy read for the most part. The story flowed in a logical order. I would rate this book a 3.5 if I could give half stars.
I won't give an overview. That is available in other book reviews and in the book discription. The two main characters are Candice Cain and Davis Strong. Davis has been wanting her since he first met as the new director of the youth center his aunt was the driving force of. And Candice, Candy, has wanted him too.
I liked the fact that these characters have a strained working relationship. They've had time to form some sort of idea about the other.
I also liked how there was a story. In many of the books I've read lately, there is no story.
The sex scenes were hot. Liked that a lot. Really liked the opening dreams with both characters having dreaming of having sex with the other. Also like how elements of the dreams came to fruition. I felt the passion was real between the two characters.
Some things I did not like nor follow. Davis' aunt plays such a strong role in book, but there is no direct conservation with her. I thought that the author left a dangling subplot with Milly and Rod. There is some type of romance, but the reader does not know what lead her to leave for an extended amount of time and what happens after he shows up at her home late one night.
And that leads me my next point. How and why did Angel come home durnig the argument between Candy and Davis. I was lost here.
I was also confused with Candy not wearing pantys in her office and then wearing a pair once she arrives at Davis's home. We know she did not go home first because after the arugement, she calls for a ride home.
I also liked the ending. He goes to her and asks for her hand in marriage. And we also get to see the scene stealing Miss Pauline again. I've known this woman in ever town I've lived in. I think the author did a great job in capturing this character.
