I really liked this book. I went on a self-help-shopping-spree after I huge break up with a guy that left me devastated. This is one of the books that helped me on my path to recovery.

I related to this book and I thought it was funny. Sometimes when we go through stuff we don't realize that we are a lot alike in certain situations. I recommend this to other poeple going through a break up.

This book was just what I needed! It reminded me what not to do after a break up, like calling the ex fifty times or drunk dialing. I already knew that but the book reminded me not to and why. It gives great advice, some pretty basic, but who thinks of even the basic no-no's when your trying to get over a broken heart, and its given with a sense of humor so it made me smile and laugh. I would recommend this book' its an easy, good advice read. The only negative of the book which I have found in "Every" breakup book is it talks about using your friends a lot, I moved to a new town with my ex and I don't have any friends here, plus small town so makes it hard to get ones and they ALL know and grew up with him. So the gal with no friends in town is left out of the book.

A must read if you find yourself ALWAYS getting back together with an ex. The stories are funny and eye-opening.

There was a lot of good info in this book and I loved the laid back and humorous feel to it. We all know breakups aren't laid back or humorous so they put a nice spin on the whole topic. A good friend of mine sent this to me when she heard of my 10yr marriage breakup. A lot of this didn't fit me, cause hey, I'm not only in my 50's but I been through this before, still I came away with a much better understanding of what I should be doing for myself and that I should concentrate on working on me instead of running that "What If?" question through my head.

This is one of the best books I have read in a really long time. I have read it multiple times, and it has helped me get through two hard breakups. I have loaned it out to friends in need as well, and always seem to get wonderful feedback on this book. This is a must-have book on your personal bookshelf!

This is a really good read. I should have read it years ago, I was looking for such books and saw this but figured I needed something more in depth and more serious. Stop now if you think like I did. This is the book! It is straight forward and all kidding aside the best breakup book I've read.
Love Greg Behrendt, his comedic approach is refreshing. As for Amiira, this is the first I've read from her and she hit every nail on the head for me. I think our exes must have been twins. Mine was the evil one of course.

Of the plethora of breakup books I have read or own this one ranks at the bottom of my list for helpfulness in the wake of heartbreak. Instead of truly getting to the root of the problems you may have with picking the wrong partner for you it seemed to spend too much time reviewing other people's post breakup issues. Although, there may be similarities with what other's have experienced, reading through 50 synopsis that are nothing like what you experienced can be tedious. There are many other better books to help you survive life post breakup.
