I recently went through a Cthulhu phase while my boyfriend and I were playing the video game "The Call of Cthulhu" which was based off several stories including Dagon, Shadow Over Innsmouth (both included in the book) and Escape From Innsmouth (not included). There were also brief mentions of Rats in Walls and yaddah yaddah yaddah. Not normally a horror person I admit I was scared while reading but after time I got used to it. I Love Lovecraft's concept of Cthulhu. Being sick as a child and having hours and hours to think of wild things must really lead to some terrific stories.
My favorites from this book were Rats in Walls, Herbert West - Reanimator and Shadow over Innsmouth. A great collection of stories overall!
