A woman gets a call in the middle of the night that her husband has been killed. Little does she know what her curiosity gets her into when she does not believe her husband is actually dead. Very well done and intriguing book!!

This was a good story overall. A lot of times, I was amazed at how well the author can blend her thrillers in with a romance and stitch it all together for a great read. The espionage story-line was done really well.

Good book! Loved the twists and turns in the story. Its amazing how strong you can be if you have to. The characters were smart, strong, and sexy.

Didn't read once I discovered it was a very early romance by Gerritsen and not my thing at all--I go for hardboiled!

registered on bookcrossing as well. One of my favorite authors earlier novels, very short and not as medical thriller as she's gone on to do. Overall I enjoyed it.
