Bobbie Carlington takes a job as a housekeeper on a ranch. Clay Bodine can't understand why his brother would hire Bobbie since it is obvious she has no housekeeping/cooking skills. Clay is attracted to Bobbie which does not sit well with him. Bobbie does not care for Clay's dominating ways which at times borders on rude and overbearing.

After Clay takes Bobbie's virginitiy he demands that she marries him. She refuses because Clay is too much like her father who liked to be in control of her Mom. Clay has always been with meek women and he does not know how to deal with Bobbie's independent nature.

The sex scences were hot. I did like Bobbie but Clay just did not do it for me. He was just too overbearing to the point where I wanted to smack him. All in all it was a good read.

This was a very enjoyable read. Yes, it had a virgin heroine, but the story was enjoyable and the sex scenes were plentiful and hot. The family relationships and secondary characters were well developed. I will most likely re-read before the next book in the series is released.
