This explanation of the life of bees is geared to the 8 - 10-year-old-crowd, but all ages will find it informative and interesting. I liked the fact that the author explained the growing concern we have with the collapse of bee colonies and gave her readers helpful suggestions to help save bees:
1) don't automatically spray to eradicate bees, call a beekeeper (or county extension agent) to safely remove them.
2) plant varieties of flowers and trees listed to increase sources for bees to eat.
3) choose varieties that offer a continuous display of flowers for bees.
I do have a couple of suggestions. The formatting for Kindle is not very good (sentences start and end in odd ways). Also. the headlines (section headings) should be emphasized to aid the reader in finding the section they are interested in reading. It was also odd how the fonts changed willy-nilly.
Overall, I learned a great deal about bees and how we can help them.
