DRIPs, or divendent reinvestment plans, are the focus of this book. Charles Carlson explains what they are and how to use them. That takes up the first 109 pages. The remaining 267 pages is a list of hundreds of DRIPs from various companies. This list is worth the price of a credit since it not only details how each DRIP works, it also explains how to start them.

Tells you everything you need to know to invest in DRIPs (Dividend Reinvestment Plans). You buy the stocks directly from the company and in many cases, at a discount. The minimum investment varies, but in many cases, is very low. It also lists the companies offering DRIPs. This is the second edition, c1996, so before investing in a specific company, I would check its rating (online or in ValueLine, at the public library), and contact the company about its current plan specifics.
