This book was a disappointment to me. I found the information in the book to be kind of repetitive and not very interesting. I think this book might be helpful for very young adults. The rest of us probably already know most of this stuff if we've read any magazines or newspapers over time. Still, I will give it one and a half stars because it was an amazingly quick read, and while repetitive knowledge, it was written in a fun way.

This book caught my interest for the briefest of moments. It may contain useful information but it needs an index. If 3 months from now I start to think about buying something there is no easy way to look up when the best time to buy it is.
What was the author thinking? If it's a guide you need to be able to find the info easily. I found it very frustrating to use.

I was very disappointed in this book. Like the other reviewer, I had expected it to be more helpful in the sense of buying items that I would need, but at a time when they would be at their deepest discount. Instead, I found things about what time of week to approach your boss about a raise and other information that, as the other reviewer said, was rather redundant. The title is deceptive, in my opinion. You'd be better off buying a consumer review book, such as "Cheaper" by Rick Doble and Tom Philbin if that's the kind of thing you were hoping for. Or flip through it at your local book store. Might be a fun gag gift for friends or a white elephant present.
