I found this novel to be one of mystery, friendship, family, loss and madness. Characters are likable, realistic and easily identified with. The story line reads smoothly and has some surprising elements sprinkled throughout. Definately a novel that pulls at your heart. This has the stunning and handsome professor, the deranged mad woman, the memories of dead friends and the questions that probe ones mind about right and wrong, good and evil, a persons worth and strength. It all begins with a suitcase - someone elses.

This author has done a great job on a first novel. I will read her again. 4 stars
