The Straits of Mackinac is a lovely setting for this contemporary women's fiction book of three generations. I love this story and was able to relate to each of the three women. Some of the varied secondary characters are integral to the plot and help round out the story. My favorite character is Tammy. Her strength and determination are admirable. If you have never tried a book in this genre, Butterfly Cottage would be an excellent one to try, or if you do like women's fiction, don't miss this outstand novel.
