When I started reading the second installment of Lewis Cody's exploits, I expected his relationship with Lucia Dodd to continue and was quite dissappointed that it did not. I didn't hate the book but when he created the interestingly original Sheriff Lewis Cody and then attached him to his dynamic partner, Lucia Dodd, he created a duo that doesn't work as well solo.
