This is F. Scott Fitzgerald set in South Africa in the 1970's. The idle rich are the same everywhere; keep up appearances, but do what you damned well please behind closed doors. The interaction of the characters in this social set is endlessly fascinating - what does it say about society, especially about that portion of society which wields the most power?
