Four paranormal stories. My favorites were the first two stories, particularly the J.D. Robb one, even though I have never read any of the In Death books.

I bought this book merely because there was a part of the "in death" series by JD Robb as the first story. I should have stopped with the first story as the other 3 tales were tedious, not well written and frankly, boring. To be honest, Haunted In Death was the most mediocre of the Dallas/Roarke series that I've read.

Haunted in Death is the name of the short story in this anthology of paranormal short stories that I had to buy the book to read. I'm not a Nora Roberts fan, but when she writes as JD Robb, she gets A++s for keeping the story tight and the characters interesting. You don't have a complete collection of Eve Dallas stories without this quickie.

Eve Dallas is her typical there is a crime committed here and lets get it solved. I had not read any of the other writers. The last story was a little off for me.

In these four stories, anything can and usually will happen, from magical romance, to otherwordly suspense. As I like all four of these authors, this was a hard one to put down. It kept me interested to see what happened next.
