Nossir - that was no "gentleman" - that was a piece of human garbage who cared nothing for human life. The cop was trying to show how neutral he is in law enforcement - so his BS Is perhaps understandable, But it is still BS.
BUT NOT ALL BS IS HARMLESS. We see an increase of dangerous BS exploiting the Internet when con artists and charlatans spread untrue stories, peddling their conspiracy theories (the fantasies that Americans deliberately planned the 911 attacks are classic examples), outrageous lies about political opponents, lies simply for the sake of lying, lies in the belief that they are boosting the perpetrators' own beliefs (those who deny the Holocaust and the fact that US astronauts landed on the Moon are examples of BS at work).« less
