If you liked "Bryson City Seasons" (and I did), you will like this book, its sequel, in which we expect to find out what the author meant by writing, almost at the end of "Seasons," "I had no idea that within a month I would receive some terrible news--news that would shatter me, my family, and my future."
Well, we do find out at the beginning that the author's daughter calls her parents all upset because a horrible memory has surfaced, but if you are not the sort who peeks ahead, you will be left up in the air for most of the book while you read more of the very interesting and enjoyable experiences the doctor had in Bryson City.
I confess that after the irritation of that "tease" at the end of the one book, I felt even more irritated when the book that was supposed to solve the mystery opened with yet another tease and didn't explain it for a long time. I would still recommend both books as a good read--not really suspenseful and exciting, but books that offer food for thought and that leave you with a good feeling.

I read the other 2 books in this series and enjoyed this last one as well. Easy read and a surprise ending. Liked the stories of a small town and its residents.
