Even though I struggled through the first half I finished this book and I'm glad I did--it turned out to be a very good psychological suspense thriller! About half way it took a bizarre turn that took me completely by surprise and then it is hard to put down.

The plot is bizarre but yet will keep you going to find out how far this group will go for 'revenge'--however-- the pages and pages of sexual episodes I skipped over because it doesn't add anything and are kind of disgusting that someone would be that descriptive--so those pages can be skipped(which I did).

Gave it a 3 1/2 stars rating, didn't 'love it' but it gets better than just 'like it'.

One of the worst books i have ever read. I did not finish it (i cannot remember the last time i didn't finish a book). Then i threw it in the trash, since i did not want to inflict it upon anyone else. No idea how it got 4 stars in previous reviews. The plot is highly improbable even by mystery standards. The author goes on and on about the detective's wealth and style. The plot twists are so obvious you can see them from miles away.
