While the mystery of this book isn't as exciting as I would have liked, there are a lot of character developments that help make up the difference. In fact, the only plot points that I recall with clarity have to do with the main characters and what is happening in their lives. It's only been 3 days since I've read this book and I find it is difficult to recall who did what, how, and why. I wouldn't say it's poorly written, but the character developments definitely overshadow the mystery for me. I look forward to reading more in this series, despite not loving this installment.

At this point Wanda Nell is becoming a bit predictable, as are the other characters. Not a bad book, by any description, it's just getting a little bit stale.

4th installment of the Trailer Park Mystery Series. Again not my favorite cozy series. Wanda Nell is working a bachelor party where the guest of honor gets poisoned to death. The guest of honor brother is quickly arrested for this murder. But Wanda Nell doesn't think he did it. And goes out to prove he didn't.

This is a great series for those who like country, and diners, and momma drama. It's a very 'down home' kind of book with just enough romance, mystery, and laid back comfort full filling subjects to make it a great summer or quick easy read. I will continue on with the series, for easy reading.

I read the first book of this series; and have skipped to the fourth book with no loss. A laid back story of a family living in a trailer park with a murder to solve thrown in. Typical of many cozy mysteries, there is a romance budding between the sleuth and the police office investigating the murder. Easy to follow story, fun read. Not my favorite series but I'll continue with the series.
