Good continuation of the series. Puts a nice wrap on a couple of story lines and reopens a couple of previous ones.

this was another great entry into the Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch saga. they finally find Virgils' girlfriend/tramp.
Mr. Parker was so great at dialogue and making his characters real.
this is definitely worth reading, and even re-reading.

I tend to agree with Mike J.'s review, the third book seems like the first two, it's just the bad guys have different names. Plus, women getting raped or misused seems to be more common as the books advance in this series. It also seems like the only women we meet in the book are whores. Weren't there any good women about?

I have the last two in this series, will read them, and then post to the site. I won't miss them when they are gone.

I liked the book, I liked the series. Now that I have read the entire series, I have moved to the Jesse Stone books.
