Katherine Center's debut novel is a charmer. It's a story about single motherhood, bad boyfriends, family and friendship and finding love unexpectedly. It brought back, vividly, those new mother feelings that I had and I related easily to Jenny's initial terror, the late night feedings and lack of sleep. Yes, some might consider this "mommy chick-lit", but it's more than that. And you don't have to be a mother to enjoy it. I had a great time reading this warm, sweet and funny novel and look forward to her new one to be published in February 2009.

This was the best book I have read in quite a long time. Quick, fun read. You'll fall in love with the main character and her family and neighbor!
This was a very enjoyable read - hearbreakingly funny and completely honest. The message of "life just isn't always what you want it to be, but things can work out for the better despite the obstacles" comes through loud and clear. The descriptions made me laugh out loud and never sugar coated the beginning stages of motherhood (which always drives me bonkers!). Definitely recommended!

This book was just ok to me. I expected it to be a lot better based on reviews I have read.
