This book (part of a series) is a fun romantic read. I love the hero and heroine. They are very believable with their flaws and virtues. The hero, Sir Marmaduke, is a character in other novels of the series, and I was glad to see he had a book of his own. I was starting to feel sorry for him. He's a champion, but a bit of a romantic underdog, so to speak, because of his battle scarred face. I highly recommend Bride of the Beast, along with all the other books in this series by Ms. Welfonder!

Larger-than-life characters and a scenic setting add color to Welfonder's 14th-century romance.Character-driven and fast-paced, Bride of the Beast is a very enjoyable, romantic read. Don't miss it!
Helpful Score: 3
Very sweet romance with characters who aren't perfect, which makes them more believable and endearing.
