If there was ever two characters so wrong for each other that they were right together, it was Kate and Trevor. What a great push-pull relationship they had. I was riveted to the end. Full review is at my website: LoraineNunley.com

Another wonderful story from Elizabeth Camden!

This is only the second book by Elizabeth Camden that I have read, I was even more impressed with her writing the second time around.

With Every Breath was one of the most interesting historicals I have read this year. I was fascinated by the info about TB and the research for a treatment/cure. I mean, who knew how important statistics could be in the day-to-day research of such a dread disease.

It took awhile for Trevor to grow on me. Just like Kate, I was determined to dislike him for the way he acted in school. But as the story went along and Kate's sunny personality began to thaw him out I came to like him more and more.
I loved the realism that Elizabeth Camden used in Kate. She is strong, bright and cheerful, but on the other hand she is a complete bundle of fears. She is a paradox just like so many of us are. And she has to learn how to live each day at a time.
Forgiveness is a major theme in With Every Breath. Both Kate and Trevor have things from the past and even some present things to forgive.

A wonderful story filled with danger and romance that is sure to please any reader of historical fiction. Don't miss With Every Breath by Elizabeth Camden!

(I received a copy of this book from Bethany House in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.)
