Aside from "TOM CLANCY'S ........" screaming from the cover, I wonder how much he really had to do with this book. (It is copyright 2000 to Netco Partners, and the "Partners" are not listed.) It was written by a Steve Perry. It's a good read with a bit too much soap opera and a really hard to swallow threat that drives the whole thing. It does move right along with lots of up close and personal shootings.

Strange behavior in China - rage, murder in a small town that is kept very quiet from the world. However, Dr. Morrison knows what it is about and deliberately points Alex Michaels to a false lead. When John Howard gets caught up in a bizarre incident across the country, Net Force starts asking questions and probing. This was a great scenario and I really enjoyed how they found the bad guy. I also liked getting to know the body guard and his crew. As usual, this is fast-paced but enough depth that the characters are well-known.
