I enjoy this series a lot. This entry, number 3, again involves a ghost with a problem that Gram and Betts need to solve while they also solve a more important here-and-now murder of someone they know. A fair amount occurs in the cooking school, which I like, and the ghostly problem is not involved with a famous incident from the past. It's a little more low-key and very pleasurable to work through both problems with the characters. And the dynamics of what can and can't happen with the local ghosts that only Gram and Betts can see grow and change a bit with each book. So far, the author has avoided letting the woo-woo stuff get out of hand.
You'll like this book if you can handle just a bit of ghostliness served up with calm common sense.
