Not the most realistic story in the world, but if you like food books, it's probably worth reading--makes you appreciate sourdough bread.

I loved this book. I could not put it down. A story of life, love and getting your feet back on the ground. Much like life,it has some bittersweet moments. Esme is such a wonderful character who is sweet and endearing. As a reader, I was just hoping for her happy ending and she gets one. I do not want to give too much away and spoil the story. This one will stick with me for a long time to come.

I heartily enjoyed this book. I had some laugh out loud moments amongst reading about the chaos of Esme's life. This book contains some of the most lyrical writing I've ever come across about bread -- I actually had to stop reading and make some bread to soothe the craving for it that this book produced. Interesting story, characters and settings. Witty dialogue left me guffawing.
