This is a book that, based on reviews i've read on Amazon, people either hate it or they love it. Well if thats the case then yep, i loved it. That being said, it is severely in need of editing. There were mistakes on what seemed like every other page, almost to the point of distraction.

Liam is one of the sweetest Hero's i've ever read in a book. Oh my...i LOVE him! Amber was another heroine that i wanted to smack more than once and tell her to wake up! But she grew on me. Jake was the best, coolest big brother ever. I would love it if the author went back and wrote a story for him. Only with LOTS more editing than this one, LOL.

I will say, just in case someone is looking into this book for their daughter or something, this is a YA book but i would recommend only to older teens. The actual sex is not described, but there are LOTS of heavy makeout scenes that are described, and in pretty explicit ways for a YA book.

**SPOILER ALERT** I've wanted to read this book for quite a while, with high expectations based on reviews I've read on various sites. I was utterly disappointed. There are certain elements that make up a good book, like a good story line, dialog that is realistic and engaging, and characters that are likable. Most of all, a story has to have conflict or struggle--something for the character to overcome. This story had potential, but 99% of the conflict resolved itself in less than a paragraph--and within the first few pages. Girl and guy can't stand each other, but for some reason, they sleep in the same bed for eight years and never get caught. Girl's abusive father is done away with so easily that it's as if he never existed. Girl doesn't like being touched, flinches a lot--which doesn't make sense since this guys been snuggling in her bed for EIGHT years--and the guy is a man-whore. Everyone knows it, including the girl. But she pushes her self-respect aside and instantly falls in love with him? Plus, this author made a mistake I see often in new and self-published writers, which is having characters use pet names CONSTANTLY. Like, four or five times on a page. "Hello, Love." "What are you doing, Love?" "Love, I love you, Love." For example (those aren't actual quotes from the book). But seriously, when you have a conversation with someone, how often do you say their name? Rarely. You both know who you're talking to so using names is unnecessary. Even pet names. This drove me crazy. Nothing happened in most of the scenes. The dialog was pointless. I started skimming after the first few pages and never bothered to finish the book. It may have redeemed itself in the end, but I wasn't willing to waste my time trying to find out. Instead of this book, I suggest reading My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick.
