I read a lot of books of this nature and have seldom been grabbed into a book as much as Mr. McCann managed to do. Richard McCann's mother was the first victim, of more than a dozen victims total, of the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe. I was amazed at how well the book was written being that this is his first work. The story mainly tells about Richard and his older sisters Sonia lives and intersperses sometimes with his two younger sisters, his father, his girlfriends and their children, and other family and friends. It's most definitely worth reading to see how this one man affected the lives of so many, many people. His second book Into The Light is also out and I plan on reading that very soon also.
