Good but convoluted story set during the middle ages. Church rules, regulations, and who's who in the church made it a little difficult. But still enjoyable!
This is pretty good, a very twisted plot and lots of parallel goings-on.

There was a lot of redundancy in this story. How many ways can you describe each character and each evident. The mystery was ok. Sir Baldwin seems to be a weak investigator. Of course, if he had really checked in the victim's room, the book would have a short story.
