This was such a dissapointment! Nothing like her other books. Very slow and the characters are not likeable. I couldn't finish it.

This is going to be an excellent new series, Nicole Martin was 8 when her world was torn apart and she was left for dead by a defanged vampire, in their rebellion on the humans. Her family business is to sell vampire slaves and to use them to make humans a better race and to make weapons to use on vampires. She was saved and moved away and let her half brother run the company, but she was forced into the head on her birthday according to her father's will but she dont want it but she has no choice. Until she in under suspicion for an execution order on some vampires in the holding cells that she never signed. But when she is kidnapped but a sexy but deathly vampire that has hunted her dreams since she watched him kill her vamp nanny when she was 8, comes and kidnaps her and takes her to his clans hideout/village as a hostage and ransoms her to her brother in trade for a female vampire that her company illegally captures but her brother doesn't want to and so she stays. She never bargain that she and Riker have a connection that should not exist but does. This book will suck you right in and not let you go even at the end and you cant wait for the next book.
