The story follows the graphic novel fairly closely. Straczynski's graphic novel was better. This author used simile's comparing action in the novel from scenes in random movies, assuming the reader would get the reference. (Pink Flamingos being one which I have not seen.) He did this repeatedly. There were also many typos, mosly omitted words, and a few of the kind that would pass a computer spell check because the wrong word was written.

If you're a completist, it is worthwhile. If you're wanting a good story, I'd recommend the graphic novel version of this story more than this version.

This is a story of people who gain super powers as children. How they grew up, how they were set apart from society, and how they act as they find someone is killing them off.
It is a good story, with the main character telling the story to you.
Overall not bad.
