A great read for anyone who loves the Lord of the Rings. This is an irrevrent parody that will send you roleing on your sides in laghter.

I ordered this, seeing that is was recommended for anyone who loved J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, hoping to find a good read.
I was definitely not impressed with this book, I didn't even read it beyond a little bit of flipping through - to see what it was going to be like. That was all that I needed.
J. R. R. Tolkien kept his books wholesome and clean, but I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

A delightful parody from the Harvard Lampoon! One must be familiar with Tolkien's trilogy to fully appreciate the humor. My rating is one short of perfect due to emphasis on then-current pop culture and consumer products (it's been more than 40 years!).
