I just got a message from a person I mailed a book to, she states that it is "stuck at the post office" and the post office said there is postage due on it.  Since I used the postage printing from PBS and have never ever had a problem, I am at a loss as how to resolve this. She has sent a problem with book message and wants me to "fix this" but I have no way to do that. Any ideas? Thanks, Joan

I would either ask the member or call USPS and give them the tracking number to find out 'why' they're looking for postage. If the weight paid for was correct then it shouldn't be held up. Has she moved from the address on the label and the PO wants to forward it? MM is not usually forwarded (though sometimes it does go through without problem). Once you know 'why' there's postage due you can determine what to do next. If it's because of incorrect postage because the book was actually heavier than the weight entered on the mailing page ( it's not always accurate there and it's good to double check whenever possible)  then you can send her a credit to cover it and she can retrieve the book. If she moved she needs to mark it resolved: she should have changed her address here and you're not responsible. Either way you can use 'contact us' below to reach PBS if you need them to intervene if the member doesn't mark it resolved once you handle it on your end.
