I have enjoyed many books but on rare occasions, I get one that is so unputdownable, that it consumes my world. This was one of them. I could not stop thinking about this book when I wasn't reading it and had my nose in it at every opportunity. It was dark, sad, spooky and yet filled with love, hope and light. The idea of actually eating books horrified me until I found that you retained everything you read. Then I was wanting to be a book eater. The story was so much more than that though. The idea seemed simple but the book so much more complex. Loved everything about it. And the ending had me on the edge of my seat. I am saddened that it is over but hopeful for another adventure with Devon and Cai.
