I rescue books from the public Library where I volunteer, so that they are not discarded.  I also take books from friends and neighbors.  I then exchange them at paperbackswap.com  (PBS) for credits to be used to get books of my choosing.  I get very few books for myself, and have hundreds of credits to use in obtaining books for local organizations that can use them.  To coordinate donations, I would need a list of titles/authors and the number of copies needed.  It could be one teacher at a time or a combined list but with one contact name and address to be distributed at your end.  Or I could give you credits to obtain books from your end.
