For sheer visual impact, it's pretty hard to beat Miranda Innes's impressive book, in which glorious color is set off dramatically against the white pages. Here are all types of candles, including beeswax, decorated, Christmas, and floating varieties, plus many types of holders. The section on decorating with candles offers beautiful tableaux of candles used in country, romantic, classic, ethnic, and contemporary settings. The final chapter features step-by-step instructions for making dipped, molded, rolled, scented, pressed-flower, and painted candles. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
