Just like the TV show, full of fun and witty repartee, as Tempe and Booth rush to solve the puzzle of pieces and parts of various skeletons appearing together. Easier, quicker read than Kathy Reich's own books, but including the same archeologic forensics. Both my husband and I enjoyed it.

This book is very shallow, childishly written and and far cry from the Kathy Reichs books you are used to reading. Absolutely mindless, but okay on a beach.
All right - moves fast, lots of action, but I like the books written by Reichs better

Not written by Kathy Reichs but a good tie-in novel about Temperance Brennan.

Good read. Great characters and story about a serial killer, the mob, and an anthropologist.

This was a really great book. It was a fast read and you can hear the characters speaking the lines.
What a fun read! This gives a little more insight into Boothe and Its closer to the tv show than the Kathy Reichs books. Still a quick paced good read!
A pretty darn good mystery, though I don't usually read books from a television series, this one was well worth reading.
I really enjoyed this book. I am a fan of the television show and I look forward to more of these books in the future.
I lived the book and could picture the tv characters in their roles.
This book is based on the TV series"Bones" featuring the character created by Kathy Reichs. Great book!
Just as good at the television show!
True to the show. Great story line.
If you watch the show you can see the characters acting out the book. I really liked the book. It includes suspense, bones, the mob, and a crooked cop.
Just like the TV program. I discovered more about the characters that I either hadn't gotten in the show or that wasn't talked about. I love the TV show and this is really a great book.
Really good mystery
Tempe's work at the Jeffersonian Institute is put on hold when Special Agent Seeley Booth, stalled on a case deposing a Chicago mob family, calls her in to assist with a bizarre discovery: a plastic bag of skeletal remains--and a chilling note--left on the steps of a federal building. Tempe determines the bones are from different corpses, suggesting a serial killer's handiwork. A suspect is quickly taken into custody, but Tempe senses the case is far from closed. And as Booth's Mafia case heats up with violent twists and bloody discoveries, including ties to one of Chicago's most gruesome and notorious killers, Tempe must unravel the story of the bones, where the truth lies buried--in order to stay alive.

BONES BURIED DEEP by Max Allan Collins: Based on the television show created from Kathy Reichs book series - Special Agent Seeley Booth is missing a confidential informant when he receives a bag of bones, literally a wired together skeleton dumped on the steps of the Chicago federal building. Tempe quickly establishes that the remains come from not one but four different corpses. A suspected serial killer is taken into custody but as Booths missing informant case heats up with violence and bloody discoveries, a tie to one of Chicagos most notorious and gruesome killers emerges. Tempes life is at stake now to find the solution.
